  • How can I learn more about policy-making and how it
    pertains to nutrition?

  • How does one politely haggle for a higher salary?

  • Dietitians do not make much of an annual salary.  
    How can I maximize my retirement plan/investments
    to ensure I can keep my head above my debts while
    saving for my future?

  • How can Dietetic Interns manage their finances to
    better prepare for the professional world after
    graduation?

  • What do I need to know before  opening a private
    practice?

  • How do I handle Insurance Reimbursement for
    patients seeing a dietitian?

  • What types of work/volunteer experiences do you
    recommend pursuing while still in school to make our
    real world experiences more competitive?

    they are so believed by the general public?

    college?

  • How do I market myself? I am 50+ years old have an
    MBA and now I hope to be an RD. I am not sure what
    approach to take so I don't look like a person who
    doesn't know what they want to do with their life.

  • What is an appropriate way to approach potential
    employers who do not have a job listed?  What sort
    of things should you say in a letter or phone call to
    them?

  • What skills, references, previous work experience do
    employers value most?

  • I would like advice on managing graduate school and
    a career.

  • How much is negotiable in an interview or hiring
    offer? How far can you push without being overly
    aggressive?

  • What type of opportunities are available in oncology
    careers or pediatric careers

  • I hear there are lots of unusual ways to use your
    degree that are not clinical related. I would love to
    hear more about those opportunities.

  • What types of jobs are available for geriatric
    nutrition? What if I want to be a weight management
    counselor should I get a certificate in weight
    management? Is it an accepted certificate that
    means anything and which do you recommend?

  • How do I learn more about the billing process since
    most clients will be on insurance?
